The course is very flat, taking the runner through the ASU-Beebe campus and nearby residential areas. The course record set in 2006 is 16:26. The pre-registration fee is $18 and $20 on race day. Participants may register on race day from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. The race will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female runners and 1st place to male and female walkers. There are 14 age groups beginning with 0-9 through 70+ in increments of 5 year age groups. Trophies will be awarded to the overall female and male runners and walkers. The revenue from the race sponsors the Alumni Association's Book Scholarship. The scholarship was established to help those students who have little or no financial aid to buy books. There is also a Children's Fun Run $5 per child for children ages 0-7.
