This is the second race of the 2007 Lake Compounce Race Series, featuring a 5k, 10k & Half Marathon race around a family theme park located in Bristol, CT. The beautiful mountains and glistening pond provide a backdrop for the event. The 5k & 10k courses are fast; mostly flat featuring one main hill, approx 200 ft. climb. The Half Marathon takes place on a country back road along the base of a mountain in Bristol and Southington. The course is fast featuring gently rolling hills. All races finish at the gates to Lake Compounce and races are complete before the park opens at 11:00.
