For the serious runner or casual walker, this is more than just a footrace. Proceeds from the race benefit the St. Michael's High School athletic program and student activities.Starting at the historic San Miguel Mission in downtown Santa Fe, the moderate course winds through historic and scenic neighborhoods and ends 4 miles later at St. Michael's High School. Because it is a point to point race, transportation is provided back to the starting line. All participants receive a goody bag, t-shirt, post race refreshments and the chance to win door prizes. The date of the race coincides with the Fiesta San Miguel, a day long carnival hosted by the St. Mike's Parents Club. Immediately following the race, those runner who wish to can attend Mass at the school and partake of a fabulous breakfast hosted by the St. Mike's alumni association before heading off to the carnival.
