Competition Run/Race Half Marathon 7:30 AM  
The Patrick Henry Half-Marathon is a combined event of the Richmond Road Runners Club and the Sports Backers. The race is run from Poor Farm Park in Hanover and traverses the county of Hanover and Ashland, Virginia. The race location is about 15 minutes North of Richmond. All half-marathon runners will receive an inaugural custom finisher¿s medal at the finish line. Every runner also receives a special technical race shirt, and is admitted to the post-race celebration with plenty of free food, drink, and lots of smiles and pats on the back. There will be an awards ceremony at 10:30 in the park The race will be Champion Chip timed and managed by the Richmond Road Runners Club. There will be water stops about every two miles on the course. Food and refreshments will be available after the race.
