The run starts and finishes on the field between the Original Earthwork site and the Columbia River, about 300 meters from the Military Museum and even closer to the Indian Longhouse. This scenic 5k route traverses the grounds of the former Fort Stevens Military Reservation past Battery stations and along the Jetty Beach Trail. Stunning views of the Columbia River, Washington state and Astoria open up along the way. The mostly flat cross country course is ideal for fast times.
