Join us at Saluda Shoals Park for our inaugural Earth Fair 8K Trail Run! The 8K run begins at 10:00 a.m. and the 1 mile kid's fun run starts at 11:00 a.m. This relatively flat course winds through forest and grasslands and is 87% natural surface as it parallels the Saluda River. Prizes will be awarded in male/female and age categories. Pre-registration until April 25: $15. Registration April 26-May 10: $20. Additional information and registration will be available in early 2008. After the race, enjoy Earth Fair beginning at 12:00 noon. Learn about environmental conservation and participate in eco-friendly activities including: guided bird walks, paddling a kayak or canoe from River Runner, Outspokin Mountain Bike demos, environmental exhibits and live music. A highlight of the day is the "recycled" boat race featuring original entries from across the Midlands. Earth Fair is free with a $5 parking fee.
