Indiana University Circle of Life is a 501 (c) (3) registered not-for-profit student organization housed on the Bloomington campus. Circle of Life is hosting the first-ever collegiate mini marathon in the state of Indiana and in return is funding one of the largest scholarships for cancer survivors in the nation. All in honor of a former professor of the Kelley School of Business, Bill Z. Littlefield, who passed away from cancer in the summer of 2005. In his honor the Circle of Life has named the scholarship the Bill Z. Littlefield Scholarship for Survivors.
