Recreational/Fun Walk/Run 5 K 7:30 AM  
All proceeds will benefit the Northwest Kansas Domestic and Sexual Violence Services, Inc. (NKDSVS) through First Call for Help of Ellis County. Kansas Youth Leadership Academy (KYLA) middle-school students with the Hidden Heroes project as well as a Fort Hays State (FHSU) Leadership 310 Team are collaborating to aid victims of domestic and sexual violence in finding safe living conditions. This event is raising awareness and encouraging people to "walk away" from violent situations. Reistration will begin at 7:30 a.m. Registration is at the Center for Health Improvement (2500 Canterbury Dr.; Hays, KS). Registration postmarked by Tuesday, April 8 is $16 for individuals and $14 per member of a team of four or more people.
