Pepsi's 5th Annual International Race to Stop the Silence: Stop CSA 10K Race and 5K Pledge Walk will be held at 8:30 am Sunday, April 13, 2008 in Anacostia Park, Washington DC. A non-competitive 1K Fun Run for kids will take place on the same day immediately after the 10K/5K Race/Run/Walk. The registration fee for adults is $25 until on-line registration is closed, and then $30 for late registration at pre-packet pickup (see Web site). Registration is $5.00 for children 12 and under. ALL runners and walkers receive a free T-shirt. On Race Day, Packet pickup and family activities begin at 6:30 am. Timing is by IPICO RFID timing tags (an updated chip type of timing that ties to the shoe). Before Race activities include booths, information, music, information, and more. Kids' Race activities include clowns, balloons, face painting, chalk drawing, and games in a specefic area reserved for kids.
