Kick off to Montpelier's Independence Day Parade with this 1 mile race through historic downtown Montpelier. Run in front of thousands of spectators, then enjoy the parade and fireworks on the Statehouse lawn. $1000 total purse distributed among top 5 finishers in overall men's and women's fields, $100 to first man and woman to break the men?s or women?s course records. All ages welcome. Pre-registration (before June 28): Adults - $15, Kids - $5. Day of race registration: Adults - $20, Parents accompanying children - $10, Children (12 and under) - $5.
