Highlights:A competitive 5K run that takes you through historic downtown Beaufort, South Carolina, across its famous downtown bridge and over to neighboring Lady's Island. Along with the competitive 5K run, there will be a recreational Walk Through History, a non-guided, self-paced walk throug Beaufort's historic downtown district. The Walk Through History will take you throughout Beaufort's palmetto-lined historic neighborhoods, allowing you to see 18th and 19th century homes. Both the competitive 5K run and the recreational Walk Through History begin promptly at 8 a.m. At 8:45 a.m. the Popcorn Shrimp Race takes place.
