Family Fun Run around the Lake of Island Pond. All runners, walkers, bikers welcome! 2 Distances: "Full Pond" 5.5 miles, start and finish at the Town Beach. "Half Pond" 2.5 miles, start at Town Beach and finish at State Beach. Must provide own transportation back from Half Pond finish. 2 short hills, lots of flat and gradual downs. Ribbons for all kids. T-shirt guaranteed on race day if you register by Aug 15. Limted # of Ts for purchase on race day. Awesome prize raffle, water tables & snacks.Event sponsored by local Northeast Kingdom businesses. Race registration fees benefit the Taini Mae Kinney Memorial Scholarship for Northeast Kingdom residents seeking higher education. Scholarship available through Vermont Student Assistance Corp (VSAC).
