This is a great race for all levels!!! Sign-up early, we will sell out! Great Door Prizes and Dri-Fit race t-shirts for all participants. The swim will take place at Lancaster Aquatic Center (UK) and this will be a 800 meter snake swim (10 second intervals between swimmers). The 18-mile bike course is an out and back course, which takes you past the beautiful horse farms of Kentucky! Note: this is not a closed course. The course will be well marked and patrolled by numerous officers and volunteers. The 4-mile run course will be well marked and patrolled by numerous volunteers. It is a mile to the UK Arboretum, 2 miles around, and then 1 mile back to the finish line. The Arboretum is beautiful and you will most certainly enjoy this scenic run! The Duathlon features a 2 mile run/18 mile bike/4 mile run. The duathlon will start 15 minutes after the triathlon. http://www.triforsight.com http://www.active.com/page/Event_Details.htm?event_id=1587262&assetId=b368e498-4fae-467f-a035-63981a6fc73f Beth Atnip batnip@uky.edu 859-396-3220 859-257-6147 3399 Winthrop Drive
