WOODSTOCK 5K ? Saturday, August 2 Come participate in the 28th running of Anniston Runners Club Woodstock 5K- this year?s Road Runners Club of America Southern Region 5K Championship. Runners receive a technical shirt, best goody bag around, and chances to win $2,000 in door prizes, $2,000 in cash prizes and coveted Woodstock bobblehead trophies. Want to run on your business or organization?s team? Join the Team Challenge. Special prizes for team winners. Packet Pickup Pasta Pigout is free Friday, Aug. 1 at Classic on Noble, downtown Anniston, from 5 ? 7 p.m. Saturday, August 2 -- No race day registration. Packet pickup from 6-7 a.m.; 5K race starts at 7:30 a.m. (Cost is $20). Kidstock 1 Mile Run/Walk starts at 8:30 a.m..(Cost: $10.00). Proceeds benefit United Cerebral Palsy.
