(The heel essentially "sinks" into this open space in the midsole, which enhances cushioning.) Brooks also repositioned the upper overlays onto a more open mesh for better breathability and a roomier forefoot fit. We recommend this shoe for bigger runners with high arches looking for a neutral-cushioned shoe with a nice roomy fit.
