We say: Some runners thought the midsole of last year's Adrenaline was too soft; our Shoe Lab tests showed this year's version is firmer. This update is nearly an ounce lighter, and the flex grooves in the outsole have been repositioned, giving the shoe a smoother heel-to-toe transition. The fit and feel of the upper remain virtually the same. Recommended for bigger runners with normal arches looking for a stable, responsive trainer.
Wear-testers say: "Excellent in terms of support, breathability, and durability." -Meredith Ulmer, 23, East Lansing
"Brooks seems to be returning to the great fit of the Adrenaline from two years ago." -Jamie Kryminski, 23, East Lansing

I love this shoe so far. Very nice cushioned and very good arch support. I run on a lot of hard surfaces and can only recommend this shoe.

My last 3 pairs of running shoes have been the adrenaline and I will never run in anything else. They feel great on the first run and there is no break in period needed. All I can say is try this shoe. .
